THE speculation on the site of a new Mildura hospital is a waste of time. There's no plan yet and, when a plan is revealed, that will be the time to discuss it. One wonders why people embark on stirring the pot when the pot is empty.

This is the time to be positive. Should funding for a new hospital be approved, it will be the biggest single public investment this region has seen in 100 years.
