Region buzzing with energy over Easter

WHAT a bumper Easter we celebrated here in Tropical North Victoria!

It was impossible not to be drawn into the fantastic atmosphere among our community, as locals and visitors came together to celebrate Easter and enjoy the region’s beautiful weather and numerous attractions.

It was fantastic to see our region buzzing with energy as we welcomed visitors from near and far.

The influx of visitors saw accommodation providers at capacity, our riverbanks brimming with campers, and our streets alive with excitement.

A highlight for many was the Show ‘n’ Shine, which drew thousands.

This surge in tourism not only showcased the best of our region, it also delivered a welcome boost to our local economy.

From sports and art to community events and family gatherings, there really was something for everyone.

Our businesses and tourism operators did a remarkable job of creating a memorable experience and reinforcing why this region is such a special place to visit.

Whether you celebrated the religious meaning of Easter or simply enjoyed the chance to unwind, I hope the break offered a meaningful opportunity for reflection and quality time with loved ones.

Thank you to the volunteers, emergency services, local businesses, and event organisers who contributed to make this Easter weekend such a success.

The Mildura region continues to be the Easter events capital of Victoria.
