Congratulations Hederics

AS the dust settles on another enthralling Dakar Rally, I would like to extend my congratulations to our own Toby Hederics on an outstanding achievement in completing his first Rally.

Finishing ninth in the Rally2 class and 19th overall as well as second among rookies, Hederics has surpassed his goal of simply finishing the race.

His performance displayed remarkable strength, perseverance, and tenacity, qualities that have made him a true standout in this gruelling competition.

Dakar is renowned as the most physically demanding motorbike rally in the world, a challenge not for the faint-hearted.

It pushes competitors to their absolute limits, testing both physical and mental endurance.

Toby rose to this challenge with exceptional determination, serving as an inspiring example of what can be accomplished when we strive for our goals and have the courage to pursue our dreams.

Toby Hederics should be immensely proud of this achievement, as are no doubt his family and the wider community. He has proven himself a fantastic ambassador for the sport and for our region.

Congratulations, Toby, on this well-deserved success!
