MILDURA'S young and young at heart are saving their pennies as the 72nd annual Mildura Show prepares to roll into town.

Held on the third weekend of October every year, event co-ordinator Raywin Jamieson said crowds would not be disappointed with the array of activities this year would bring.

"We're in for a fairly busy year this year," she said.
