THE 44-day mystery around who held the Tattslotto division one-winning ticket sold by Mildura's Klemms Newsagency has been solved.

A Port Fairy family on Monday came forward to claim the $446,949 prize and labelled Mildura their "lucky" place.

One family member, who wished to be unnamed, on Monday said they were coming to terms with the news.
