COUNTRY Women's Association Carinya branch members have been busy knitting beanies for young people and mentors tackling next month's Kokoda Trek.

On Monday, knitted beanies for the group to use and and teddies to distribute to people in villages along the trek were handed over to the Mallee Accommodation & Support Program Kokoda Youth Mentoring program.
