A MERBEIN family is haunted by the death of their beloved dog Thor, who started foaming at the mouth and bleeding from the eyes after a suspected bait poisoning last weekend.
The death of the two-year-old mastiff cross triggered a warning from Evi Kuster, who reminded pet owners to remain vigilant and property owners to heed signs of baiting.
On Sunday morning, Ms Kuster saw Thor eating something while on a walk in her property’s back paddocks, but the first time she realised something was wrong was when Thor ate only half his dinner that night.
