THE Anglican Diocese of Bendigo says changes to oversight and governance arrangements at Mildura’s Deakin Court retirement village should have little impact on daily running.

The diocese has informed former residents or representatives of former residents that they may be affected by an application to the Director of Consumer Affairs about the village’s land.

However diocese Bishop Matt Brain yesterday said that while the changes were necessary, he envisaged they would provide a “best fit” for residents.
