MILDURA artist Susan Howe has received $500 from the Carinya Country Women’s Association (CWA) branch to help buy five sewing machines for Uganda women.

Ms Howe started the POSHU Women’s Education Project after she visited the country nine years ago.

The sewing machines, which will be delivered to the Karamoja women next week, will help them learn an income-generating skill to launch...
