A MILDURA man who preyed on local retailers to help fund a drug addiction has been jailed.

The Mildura Magistrates' Court heard Gerard Johnson stole high-end meat products, power tools, metal detectors, sunglasses and clothing and used stolen credit cards to buy alcohol and cigarettes over the past year.
