POWER is now flowing through the wires and substations of the EnergyConnect project after the on switch was flicked recently on the $200 million works.

The project saw the further connection of the Victorian, New South Wales and South Australian electrical grids which will ultimately result in 900 kilometres of power lines and supporting infrastructure.
