REGIONAL Development Australia's Murray section has a new chair.

Last week Kylie King was appointed to the role, replacing past chair Mary Hoodless, who was in the top job for six years.

RDAs, including the Murray office, are a Federal Government effort overseen by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts.
