A MILDURA man has been charged after crashing an alleged stolen car on Monday.

Police spotted the Ford Wildtrak from a distance, driving south on Etiwanda Avenue just before 4pm before it left the road at a bend on Gordon Avenue and crashed into a tree.

A 22-year-old Mildura man, who sustained minor injuries, was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital under police guard.
