A FOUNDATION stone has been laid for a Buddhist temple and zen meditation centre under planning near the Mallee Sky Gardens at Irymple.

Venerable monks, as well as about 40 monastics from across Australia and Vietnam travelled to Mildura to be part of the ceremony, which included chants and blessings.
