MOTORISTS are being called on by the state's peak lobby group to remain vigilant about driveway safety and preventing the injury or death of children in driveways.

No driveway-related child deaths were recorded by the Coroners Court of Victoria for 2024, following 13 instances of children aged between one and 10 losing their lives between 2020 and 2023 in driveway incidents.
