A MILDURA local is continuing her work with Project of Self Help Uganda, an initiative she founded to support women facing poverty, violence, and displacement in the east African country.

Susan Howe lived in Uganda with her family in 2008 when a neighbour asked her to help in an English class for older illiterate women.
