MOBILE black spots, particularly in rural and regional Victoria, have been a cause for concern following on from the nationwide 3G network shutdown that went into effect last year.

A recent report from the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman revealed a surge in complaints between October and December 2024, with the largest increase of 44.1 per cent of no phone or internet service.
