A MILDURA man with a "terrible" history of drug and driving offences came "perilously close" to being sent to jail this week after again being nabbed by police on similar offending.

Thirty-two-year-old Deon Brown fronted Mildura Magistrates' Court where he admitted driving on the wrong side of the road on Ontario Avenue to evade police as well as drug possession charges.
