WITH most students returning to school on Friday, hundreds of school zones across regional New South Wales could benefit from enhanced accessibility and safety following upgrades delivered as part of the School Zone Infrastructure Sub Program.

The program, a collaboration between Federal and State government with assistance from local councils, implemented almost 475 safety improvements on roads near schools in regional and rural areas
