WENTWORTH Shire councillors have postponed a vote on a proposed 'group home' for National Disability Insurance Scheme participants at Buronga after hearing from residents opposed to the development.

The proposed home in the Midway Estate would house three permanent residents, each with their own ensuite, with an additional bedroom and ensuite for for an overnight carer.
