EVENT organisers as well as other not-for-profit sporting and community groups can now apply for funding through three Mildura Rural City Council grant programs.

The Events Funding and Support Program, Recreation Assistance Program and Quick Response Program are now all open for applications.

The events funding comes in four streams with tier 1, or 'hallmark', events eligible for up to $50,000.
