THE beginning of February is forecast to bring severe heatwave conditions to the Mallee with some extended weather predictors anticipating up to nine consecutive days of 39 degrees or above.

The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast severe heatwave conditions across much of western Victoria including into the north west and southwestern New South Wales for the three days beginning February 1.
