A ONE-off tournament honouring Mildura eight-ball star Joy Sullivan was so well-received that Mildura Sporting Precinct venue is being endorsed by interstate players to host a national titles.

The Joybell Cup Mildura Open ran across the weekend was described as the biggest eight-ball event in the city since the previous national championships were held in Mildura in 1993.
