AN apprentice automotive technician has been crowned Sunraysia Regional Consulting's Indigenous employee of the month.

Malakie Mitchell was recognised for his first seven months of work at Davison Motor Group.

SRC deputy chair Nick Cavallo presented Mr Mitchell with a certificate and a cheque for his efforts, saying he had "great work ethic and teamwork".
