A MILDURA councillor is seeking to generate an earnest conversation about how Sunraysia can address its issues with recruiting and maintaining volunteers.

In recent years, several local volunteer-run groups have been forced to make urgent public pleas for assistance, as volunteer numbers reached untenably low levels.
