LOCAL Federal MP Anne Webster has encouraged people in Sunraysia to consider a visit to the southern Mallee Electorate town of Halls Gap, which is "doing it tough" after the Grampians bushfire.

Dr Webster was in Halls Gap on Wednesday where she was joined by Opposition Leader Peter Dutton, who she invited to the region while the fires were burning.
