A VINTAGE engine had been installed in the largest paddlesteamer in the southern hemisphere, bringing the vessel closer to welcoming passengers on the Murray River.

The 9.5-tonne wood-fire steam engine was originally built in 1907 and underwent a refurbishment before being placed in the middle deck of the PS Australian Star.
