THE reported smell of smoke in the cabin of a Rex flight from Melbourne to Mildura has sent emergency services rushing to the town's airport.

More than 10 fire trucks as well as police and ambulances were called to Mildura Airport just before 5pm today to meet Rex flight ZL3682 with a scheduled arrival time of 4.30pm.
