THREE earthquakes in three days in the Far West were seemingly unrelated, according to GeoScience Australia.

Senior seismologist Phil Cummins said the earthquakes that slightly rocked Broken Hill from last Friday to Sunday were due to tectonic stress from the earth's plates even though their boundaries are thousands of kilometres away.
