WHEN Lions Club of Broken Hill announced the winner of its Christmas raffle grand prize, a brand-new car, the lucky recipient said he couldn’t believe his luck.

Mildura father and former Broken Hill local Trevor Rogers, aged 78, received the winning ticket from his daughter, Tracey Morris, who still lives in the area, as a Father’s Day present.
