MILDURA Harness Racing Club has trialled the return of trackside bookmakers at the venue after Tabcorp ended years of tradition by shutting down on-course tote facilities in late November.

The move to take away the TAB totes at local tracks was one of the first decisions of new chief executive Gillon McLachlan, with the gaming giant no longer required to provide staffed tote window
