A MILDURA man had to be cut from his vehicle after a car crash on the Calder Highway near Carwarp on Friday night.

The man, 53, was driving a Ford sedan towing a trailer, with a male passenger, 17, when the vehicle tried to overtake an Isuzu D-Max ute travelling north.
