A P-plater who caused a two-car collision on San Mateo Avenue in March has been told to stop using cannabis to treat his insomnia if he intends to drive a vehicle.

Cameron Utley, 21, pleaded guilty to a crash on March 26, after he disregarded a give way sign at the intersection of Twentieth Street and San Mateo Avenue, colliding with a Holden Commodore.
