KEY towns in Wentworth Shire could be a step closer to improved drinking water after the New South Wales Government announced a co-founding arrangement with the municipality.

As part of the program that includes a $472,000 spend by the State Government, Wentworth Shire Council officers will investigate the options for separating potable and non-potable water supply in four communities.
