THE Paddle Steamer Melbourne is expected to take passengers out on the the water in a couple of weeks after months of repair.

The move comes as the boat's new owner, Adam Auditor, said he's been working on the vessel since he purchased it this year and said he couldn't wait to take some people out on the water in the more than 100-year-old paddle steamer.
