SUNRAYSIA school students have showed off their ingenuity at this year's Energy Breakthrough event in Maryborough.

Enduring stifling conditions, seven teams from primary schools with 200 or less students brought their pushcarts to the Central Goldfields to show off their designs and race them against 18 other ensembles.
