THE Victorian Electoral Commission officially declared the results for the Mildura Rural City Council election on Tuesday.

During a formal ceremony at the Powerhouse Precinct, the nine successful councillors were declared by VEC election manager for Mildura, Gary Green.

The results were announced in alphabetical order based on the names of the municipality's nine wards.
