SPORTING Shooters Association of Australia members hosted a week-long national shooting competition to see which cowboy had the fastest gun in the wild northwest.

Match director Peter Olsen, also known as 'Long-Haired Jim', said the event brings together like-minded Wild West enthusiasts from across the country.
