MILLEWA Ward council candidate Carli Leishman says more pedestrian infrastructure is needed in Merbein to fully connect its local business district, schools, libraries and parks.

Frustrated at a lack of detail over recent pedestrian crossing announcements by the Victorian Government, Ms Leishman said it was clear that local infrastructure hadn't kept pace with Merbein's growing community.
