AS temperatures start to heat up, local firefighters are getting prepared for the season ahead.

The CFA District 18 Sunraysia group of brigades – which includes, Merbein, Mildura, Irymple, Red Cliffs, Carwarp and Nangiloc – were joined by NSW Rural Fire Service at Nangiloc at the weekend fo
