A MAN in his 30s has been flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition, after a single car crash at Carwarp.

Police officers have been told a car crashed off the side of the Calder Highway at about 5.30pm on Saturday.

The driver, believed to be a woman in her 40s, suffered upper body injuries and was taken to Mildura Base Public Hospital in a stable condition.
