MICHAEL 'Hungry' Hogarth was laid to rest in a graveside service on Friday, as hundreds of onlookers gathered to farewell the beloved 60-year-old.

Enduring a battle with motor neurone disease for close to four years, Mr Hogarth was credited not only for his well known sporting achievements, but what he accomplished as a husband and a father.
