THE long-awaited Wentworth Visitor Centre is now open to the public.

The former Wentworth Club building at 61 Darling Street has been transformed into a repurposed $14 million multi-purpose space.

It is the new home of Wentworth Shire Council, the Wentworth Library, Wentworth Historical Society and the town's visitor information centre.
