THE Victorian Seniors Festival was officially launched in Mildura on Monday at Powerhouse Place.

Having started as just a week, the event has grown to extend through all of October, with about 40 free, and low-cost activities included in Sunraysia alone.

This year's theme is Explore. Engage. Evolve and has a focus on encouraging older Victorians to change how ageing is thought about.
