CONTESTING his third straight Mildura council election, Millewa Ward candidate Domenico Capogreco said his ideas and passion to advance the region remained the same.

The third generation grape grower said rate reform, road upgrades and waste services continued to be key talking points among the community.

"Eight years have gone by and we're still having the same discussions," Mr Capogreco said.
