AUTHORITIES have responded to a building fire on Eleventh Street in Mildura just before 9am this morning.

At Fire Rescue Victoria units, supported by CFA members tackled the blaze that's believed to have started in a shed at the rear of the property and spread to the house.

The house was unoccupied and no one was injured in the fire, with firefighters using breathing gear to enter the property.
