WITH the onset of spring comes magpie mating and swooping season, with three incidents in Mildura and Red Cliffs recorded in recent weeks.

According to online swooping map Magpie Watch, cyclists were targeted by the "aggressive" birds on Riverside Avenue between 15th and 16th streets, as well as in Red Cliffs.
