VICTORIA Police officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for their community will be acknowledged in Mildura on Thursday at the annual Blue Ribbon Remembrance Day Service.

To be held this year at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Mildura event has taken additional significance in recent years following the death of Mildura policewoman Senior Constable Bria Joyc
