BEN Welch is no stranger to tragedy, having lost two of his brothers in the past 10 years.

Now, he is using that heartbreak to push his body to its limits to raise money for local mental health services.

The Echuca-based builder will undertake The 444 Run in March next year, aiming to run 380km from Mildura to Echuca in four days, four hours and 44 minutes.
