THE biennial Spring Airing of the Quilts will get fresh air for the fourth time this Sunday.

Sunraysia Patchwork Friends have organised the event, inspired by traditions where quilts would be aired out before being packed away following winter.

"It's quite a spectacular time," spokesperson Chris John said.

"There's lots of different styles of quilts on display, and it's always quite colourful.
